- My name is Mark Woodworth. I began my career in telecommunications in 1979. During those years I’ve worked in operations, construction,
manufacturing and consulting as well as research and development of new technologies. My career has spanned the building of traditional cable television systems, the beginning of VoIP, microwave, fiber and wireless technologies.
I have been serving on boards since 1993 and currently am a board member of four different organizations; a not for profit, a nonprofit, a for profit and this cooperative. Magnolia Road Internet Coop is at a crossroads. We have some management and technology issues that need to be addressed and a future to be embraced. I would like the opportunity to be a part of this future.

- I have been a paying member of the Magnolia Road Internet Coop since the very early days of 2000. So, you can see I have a vested interest in our Coop. I currently have been on the board of directors for 2 years. I am a retired electrical engineer with most of my career involving the design of power electronics. My primary responsibility on the board is to improve the reliability of our battery backup systems to have longer operating times during grid power interruptions or in the case of our solar powered sites, during long periods of heavy snow and reduced sunshine. Our Rocky Mountain location is a significant challenge, especially during our very cold winters. We have made significant progress, but the task is still on-going. I hope to receive our memberās approval to remain on the board of directors.

- I’d like to continue to serve on the Board. I’ve been with the Coop since the early days, I became a volunteer on installs and support because the service was so valuable to me. I promoted MRIC in our Canyon when it was the only provider. I wrote and delivered installer training classes, I was on the Tech committee and worked in transitioning us between different designs and different equipment and service providers.
I now have time for a BOD position, and I think I’ll do a good job. Please consider my candidacy.

- I have been a member of MRIC since almost the very beginning, 2003. I have a great interest in helping to improve MRIC for our community of members. The cooperative concept is very appealing to me. I have been on the Board since May of 2023. My objective has been to engage in better member communication and ācustomer serviceā especially since nowadays customer service with corporations and businesses seem to be nonexistent I have also, as a volunteer, been going on service calls and helping with the improvement of our infrastructure.
